Restoration of GPA 3762

Hi I'm Bob Leguit from the Netherlands and my father (Guus) restoration from the beginning of this year a Ford GPA.

no we have fortunately no water in the hull sunny

before we have had the motor built into it, we have launched and 5x times after he was waterproof lol

Wonderfull job indeed !!
I 've seen that hull several times, but this outfit looks the best ! rolley

Hello Bob,

You and your father did a wonderful job in a very short period.
Nice too see the movie of the watertest.

For me it is a good motivation to complete my own soon.

Maybe we can swim together in the near future.

it strikes me that it all went very quickly with the GPA.
we bought it in January and now in August we can all run and swim.

I certainly hope we can sail together in the future

A very nice job. Hope you enjoy for many years.

I noticed the small switch bracket to the left of the dash. That is not standard on a GPA though it looks great. What is it used for?

I use the little dashboard for

1, electric fuel pump
2, electric water pump
1, I think a siren under the deck

restoring the GPA continues.

We get a lot done, painted and ready for assembly.
But we missed that part of the wheel bracket that is perfectly made,
By a good metal worker in our neighborhood.

GPA 3762 is really getting in shape !
Today I took a look at the Bart Holland site and saw the work his company also did.
The pictures of your GPA and mine beside eachother !
Next amphib probably sailing together lol

Restoring the GPA continues and comes to a end sunny
Its al long time ago that i post some picters of the GPA so here are the new one.
In the weekend we go for a drive and see if everything works as planned.
I'll see if I can film it lol
