Here is the opportunity to add one of the best and most complete GPA's in the world to your collection. This is a fully turnkey vehicle that needs nothing and is ready to drive or swim anywhere today. It is complete with every accessory including original manuals, tools, and GPA Spare Parts Kits. Anyone who is on this forum probably knows the story and extensive 8 year collecting and restoration this vehicle went through. Those around the world that know me, know this was my obsession for over a decade and I have met some wonderful friends. The GPA has been shown and has won best in show, first place, etc. in every show/rally it has ever been entered in. The extensive 3800 hour restoration was done professionally and is fully documented. The vehicle is a head turner.

Starting in 2000 I decided I wanted to fulfill my dream of owning one of these rare vehicles, I started searching near and far for any projects available over the next 4 years I acquired 5 mostly complete GPA projects, which gave me the very best GPA parts collection available. In fact after the restoration I sold the "left overs" for 30K USD which went on to complete at least one other GPA (I believe it is GPA 3762 in Europe). Dennis Francis in Oklahoma did the lions share of the restoration. Most GPA owners know him as he is able to fabricate anything and has a large collection of GPA patterns. He has done work on some of the most high profile GPA's out there. I closely supervised the entire restoration including being onsite every 3 months for at least a week. I conducted all of the research and collaborated with people from all over the world (thanks to everyone) Including extensive photo research of the "South African" GPA with only 200 original miles on it. The seats are exact leather copies made by David Pizzoferato from WeeBee webbing. GPA owners including myself sent him our original remnants and along with original drawings he reproduced them (minus the Kapok). I have also applied most of the FSMWO (Field Service Modification Work Orders) which improved the operation and safety of the vehicle including Large data plates, muffler guard, drain plugs in rear compartment, starting gear on prop shaft, fuel can and bracket and reposition spare, etc....

The only criticism of this vehicle has been that it is not a matching number GPA although the Hull and Tub are paired GPA 2196, the Engine block came from a closely dated GPW and has been fully accessorized as a GPA block, they are identical other than the GPA stamp on the boss. Just recently I had the engine pulled and totally stripped down to the block and rebuilt additionally the radiator was pulled and re-cored, as it was not done in the original restoration completed in 2008.

I will post a comprehensive list of accessories included but it is extensive, like I said this is a turnkey vehicle and collection. The vehicle is in Roswell, GA 30075 and viewing can be scheduled. I will assist in shipping as well even overseas. Upon a serious offer I will conduct a "sea trial" in fresh water contingent on purchase. I will also train the buyer in amphibious operations if desired.

I am asking 150K USD firm. You can private message me here or reach me at 404 512-9221 (EST GMT-5) or email me at roswellsail@gmail.com
