Post by David Welch » Thu Apr 21, 2011 8:09 pm

Does any know the location for the 12 to 6 Volt resistor for the black out light on an early GPA 1359
A picture would be great
Thanks

I don't have a picture handy, but on the left rear corner of the front deck, there are two screwsthat hold the resister in place. I can't remember exactly but t seems like there is a block insulator that attaches to the deck and the insulator fastens to the insulator block. My decking is in place so it would be difficult to take a picture. If nobody can provide a proper picture, I may be able to dig one up.

Hi David & Steve
In my opinion the position of the early resistance for the B.O. drive is NOT fixed on the upper deck
as Steve mentioned rolley
This is correct for the later models !
On the early ones, like David ' s it is fixed inside the left air tunnel.
