Anyone have some photos of the GPA "La Tortuga" except for them in the book?

Thanks

Hi Cees,

The GPA is on its way, expecting it to Norway in a couple og weeks!

The GPA is pretty untouched since the big trip. The bottom of the hull is off course gone, and the wooden top is taken appart. (its still there)

However, all modifications made by Frank Schreider is intact, and it has the engine and transmission used on the trip. I even got the original "Spare-Parts" box that went on the trip, full of NOS GPA parts, and Frank's name written on the box!!!!

The hull has several repairs, but I will not touch any of these, as they all are well ducumented in their book, and should be preserved!

It will be restored back to "La Tortuga"!

Anyway, abot time I got a floating car...... :D

Hi Bob,

I did'nt see them at once, but now you saved my evening! Several good photos of the La-Tortuga, and also some very nice color-photos of La-Tortuga II.

Thanks,
Erik
