F marked brackets

Post by leo verhagen » Mon Jan 16, 2006 1:05 pm

Last Saturday I discovered F marks on these small brackets.
Strange that there are also F marks on items that are meant for the GPA only.......

Hello Bob,

These brackets (GPA 4529) have 4 F marked bolts on them:

They are used to mount the sprocket handcrank (GPA 7238) on the PTO, as described in the FSMWO G504-W10:

I hope this makes it clear

Leo, I do not have this part number in the manual, are you sure about it ?

In another hand, I think you have a NOS GPA horn with label, can you take some pics of it for me/us ?

Its just the GPA starting handle... one end is square to fit into this gear through the inspection cover in the floor.

Leo , now I know why I didn't recognize these brackets!
It doesn't belong on my gpa 4928 because she never had MWO's
in South Africa.
And Tony , Leo meant the lever for the handcrank he showed his foto's of.
Its the handcrank when you are in the water.

Bob,

I still think its the same handle... the square end fits right into the sproket..
