Re: PTO pulley wanted

Hi Cees,

If the problem is "the sheet metal part of the pulley assy.", you can use a good used or "nos" crankshaft pully (same size!) with the innerpart removed with help of a lathe.
New rivets, and the job is done!

Re: GPA Post Swim Maintenance

Hi Leo,

I prefer some water resistant grease for the plugs. Remove first the old grease and dirt.
Sand will damage the thread after several drain operations. My GPA drain plugs looks like lamb fittings after years use. The some thread has round tops now!

Re: USA Numbers

Hi David and Leo,
Just as a supplement to this item. WW2 photos shows for the British and Canadian reg. numbers the front right side and rear above the pintle hook. No number on the left side.
I found on GPA # 11933 the Br. number just on the right front side. The rear one was gone.

Re: WW2 GPA's in OD

Hi David, The quality of the colors in this image is -to me- not 100%. The OD looks real and also the tires. The seats not. The sky looks also real but with computer equipment you can manipulate everything today. See the movie "Longest Day" in color! It looks a little bid like that. I wonder...

Re: GPA For Sale

I have got 3 images by email of this GPA. See photobucket. The GPA in not in mint - but used condition. I think just painted in OD, fresh oil and gas. I hope also with new batteries. In my opinion not to bad, except the remarks of Jerome. According the seller its with a lot of F-script parts. Intere...
