GPA Deck Screw Question
Hello, I'm still looking for the correct screws... this is the closest I can find to my original however it is in Stainless. Could somebody tell me if McMaster Carr part number 91793A540 will work? It seems just a little bit off. The following dimensions come close to matching one of my original one...

Brake Hose Springs and Hardware
Gentlemen, I need to fabricate the brake hose springs and all associated hardware tab under bumpstop, clip for hoses and find a suitable replacement spring. Dennis Francis said he would make a pattern and sell them if we can find a set to work off of. Does anybody have a set to lend Dennis for a wee...

Deck Pan Head Screws
I bought a bunch of these screws from Steve Greenberg several years ago... but I need about 65 more to finish putting the decks and panels on. Can somebody point me at a source for these slotted panhead deck screws?
Thanks,
Tony

Re: Anyone know of a restored GPA for sale?
I've already had a 100K offer on mine at completion..... not selling though... as you said too much effort has gone into it.... also the shrinking dollar makes it look like a 50K vehicle to our friends in Europe....

Exhaust Insulator Clamps
Does anybody have any detailed pictures/measurements of what the clamps look like holding on the asbestos/clay exhaust insulator? The South African GPA picture of the engine shows a flat metal strap fastener. Here are a couple of pictures... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c327/GPA2196/SV300075.jp...

Donovan, You should have bought or visited my NOS (rusted) Hull when it was for sale... we used it to figure out exactly what you are talking about.... it was great for making patterns off of as well... and of course seeing which joints came together, which order, and where the spot welds were... es...

I had several drag links... the one I found was correct was the one that had two bends... so two parallell ends offset with by a diagonal in the middle.... Here it is installed before putting the chassis in... hopefully you can see the two bends in this picuture. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...

Drag Link Seal
Gentlemen, I've been thinking about the debate over clamping and not clamping this seal to the drag link. After installing it and looking at the set up it definitely makes sense not to clamp this seal and put some grease on the drag link to let it slide easier. That said, I've been thinking about a ...
