Hello I'm Bob Asselbergs from Poortvliet Holland.(Here the short story)
I'm crazy abouth a GPA for more than 25 years and in 2002 I made the desision to sell 3 of my loved mil. cars to have enough fund to buy my
own GPA.
I was so lucky(after telling everybody) that I've got a tip from Jan Roelse
that Eugen Nick was selling his GPA.
Eugen restaurated this GPA and owned it for more than 30 years!
We made a deal and I flew to Johannesburg and was Eugens guest for a week.
Beside seeing South Africa Eugen took me to the Museum were my GPA
4928 d.o.d. 12-28-'42 (U47595) his brother is exposed since 1949 GPA 4926 (U47594).
This GPA is in almost new and untouched condition with on total and trip counter only 184 miles !!!!
Eugen restaurated and maintained this GPA very good 30 years ago but now I like to "refresh" her again.
When he found her unfortunaly the original GPA engine was broken so he replaced it with a m 38 engine.
Now , when restoring I install a reconditioned GPA engine.
In the past 2 years I collected the few parts that were missing.
Comming spring 2006 I hope to drive and sail again!

Bob
