David,

You better be hooked up to a recusitator if and when you do find someone willing to sell theirs. Too much blood, sweat and tears in the effort to let one go easily!! I would sure like to know what the current value is and will be when the new IJ4 movie comes out.

I've already had a 100K offer on mine at completion..... not selling though... as you said too much effort has gone into it.... also the shrinking dollar makes it look like a 50K vehicle to our friends in Europe....

Donovan, have you seen the trailer for IJ4 with the alleged Seep? It looks like a (Hollywood) makeover of a Gaz 46 or a mock-up done on a standard Jeep chassis. Hopefully the movie has a real Seep. I imagine the lay public wouldn't know the difference but for MV crowd it is painful to look at. The link to the trailer is somewhere on G503. Someone had posted the trailer and I asked which MV owner rented their vehicle. That was until I saw the trailer. :< David

David,

I have seen the trailer and I agree that it is a poor mock-up of a GPA or GAZ. I do not know whether they (the movie guys) were trying to make it as a GPA or GAZ. All I know is that they used a GPA hull to create the "movie vehicles." I do not think the actual GPA was used in the movie but I am not sure. The vehicle was not restored but was planning to be restored. That is about is much as I know.

It will be painful to watch but then our vehicles are going to be a lot more familiar than they are today. Unfortunately it will be like "that is the same vehicle that was in IJ4."
