Re: Progress of GPA #8787
Some more progress made. Due to the cold wheater it took a little longer then I hoped. All brake lines, tubes and brakes shoes attached: http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d23/leoverhagen/aanv3.jpg Front wheels and tires mounted. It almost looks like a car now http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d23/le...

Re: WANTED autolite tm-9-1825
That is great Peter, I was still looking for the info you requested, but I can stop my search now.
My GPA is going great now, as soon as the ice is melted and better wheater is there it can go for watertight testing.
I will give you a call at that time.

Re: wiper Question
David,
I do have the same ones on my GPW jeep and GPA.
Only your wiper handle is broken off.
I can see the same on this WWII GPA Photo:

Re: GPA Generator Bracket.
Hi Bill,
Ok, you meant the lower bracket, sorry for my mistake. So far Scootopia doesn't make these as far as I know.
You can easely adjust a standard jeep bracket, the one on a GPA is 1" longer, so just weld a piece of the same thickness steel to it and you are done.

Re: Progress of GPA #8787
Thanks for allr your compliments, it keeps me motivated to go on. Soon I will post some more progress. Dominique and Glenn, I really look forward to go in the water together one day Michael, I will make a list of the difficulties I have faced along the way. I will post that list somewhere next week....

Re: Advice needed
David,
Will the doors/covers fit over the holes or not? If they do fit, I would leave it that way.
But it is up to you off course. I have a later type floor panel, the holes were factory made and more rectangular/square in shape.

Re: 12 volt regulator plate
David, The red one 40 amps is mounted on my weasel indeed. It is now black off course. But I was told (never found any records of that) that 40 amps regulators were on early weasels and GPA's and that later 50/55 amps regulators were used on later type weasels and GPA's. Does anyone has more info ab...
