They are indeed different from GPW front shocks (the rears are the same as GPW) The front shocks are marked GPA and I believe amphibian. I believe they are heavier duty than the GPW. Unfortunately I do not have an extra set David, I sold off my spares.

Re: Need info on Captive Nuts
Donovan, Just my two cents but I think it is a mistake to try and figure out where the captive nuts should go without the decking. You should get your decks out to the welder and put them down and mark the spots. I say this especially if you have rebuilt rail and potentially somewhat changed geometr...

Re: F/S GPA Bonnet catch
Richard,
That must be one of those right hand drive GPA's ;) The engine support goes on the right side of the engine compartment as sitting in it ;) Pretty far forward near the radiator.
Cheers,
Tony

Re: GPA Mysterious Water
Great suggestions guys.... I will try them... I guess I just finally put two and two together and figured out where the orange water and residue was coming from.... I will try to reverse the pump and clear it before shop vacing the rest out.
Thanks again,
Tony

GPA Mysterious Water
Gentlemen, Sometimes I notice about a half inch of water in the front compartment (in front of the radiator) the next day after a swim even after I clean it dry after a swim... the bilge pump won't get to that low level. I've also noticed that when I first pump the front compartment during a swim th...

Re: Wanted:weld-on spring pads & PTO levers
Donovan, I sold several GPA rear axles off last year to Andrew Donahue... One was even NOS still in the cosmoline. I think he might be able to help you with a full axle he is on this site... not sure where to get the individual brackets... although I have seen full GPA axles for sale on the G503 sit...

Re: Amphibious Week after MVPA Convention
David, Yes my understanding is that it will be Sunday/Monday/Tues or something like that but cojoined with the end of the convention. I believe the LST is planning on allowing amphibs to enter and exit from the water which would be pretty cool as well.... I plan on being there so if you need a ride ...

Re: Amphibious Week after MVPA Convention
David,
Great to hear from you. Yes I would love to be included. Are there any more details fleshed out yet so I can start getting my logisitics together. I plan on taking my GPA to the convention, I assume the amphib part will be right after the convention?
Thanks,
Tony

Amphibious Week after MVPA Convention
Guys, I asked about this the other week because I seemed to remember hearing a reference about it a while back but could not find anything. Then I saw a brief mention about it in the Supply Line. Finally I found this article on the internet... Does anybody have any details? I'd be very interested in...

I've never seen a carbine put in the rack like that.... I put mine in upside down, which is what I believe is the "correct" way. Anyone?
